Arts of Christmas

Friday night, Nov. 30, kicks off the special weekend of the Arts of Christmas at the BAC.  Bring the kids and grandkids to visit with Santa Claus from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. in the Tin Building Theatre.  From 6 to 9 p.m., there will be music, and special sales opportunities by the pottery and quilt guilds, along with a painting demonstration by the Art Club.  On the 2nd floor we’ll have the Norwegian Country Christmas Tour Quilt Display featuring some of the winners of the past five years of the BAC Quilt Show.  Also on the second floor, the Art Council presents a special one man show by Herman Walker.  The fun and festivity continue on Saturday, Dec. 1, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Santa sticks around for a Saturday visit from 11:00 a.m. to 2 p.m.; a Christmas piano recital begins at 11:00 a.m. by the piano students of Vicky Ketchum in Frazier Performance Hall.  A special assortment of cookies and spiced cider will be served both Friday evening and Saturday all day.
