The Tin Building Theatre's  “Rising Stars” children’s theatre camp performance of Disney’s  The Little Mermaid Jr. will be held on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, August 1, 2, 3 and 4.  Thursday and Friday are evening performances starting at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday are afternoon performances at 3:00 p.m.

Thursday, August 1 – 7:00 p.m.
Friday, August 2 – 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, August 3 – 3:00 p.m.
Sunday, August 4 – 3:00 p.m.

Tickets sold only at the door; first come, first served.  Online tickets are not available for these performances.

Bosque Art Classic Opening Ceremony

39th Annual Art Exhibition & Sale

The BAC Art Council  will premiere its 39th Annual Bosque Art Classic with a sale, dinner, and awards ceremony on Saturday, September 14, at 6:30 p.m.  The juried representational art exhibition is widely known for the variety of quality work it draws from across the nation.  Martin Grelle, CA, served as juror for this year’s show.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for hospitality and art viewing, with dinner served at 7 p.m.

Opening night tickets are $65 each and will open to the public August 5.

2024 Writing Contest Entries - Books on the Bosque

THIS IS NOT AN EVENT TICKET

Anyone wishing to enter original works in the 2024 Books on the Bosque Writing Contest may use this ticketing feature to pay entry fees. NOTE: Read contest guidelines and download printable entry form first.

Click the “Get General Admission Tickets” button below.  In the blank for “Ticket Holder or Guest Name,” enter instead the name of manuscript and click “Add Ticket.”  Fill in a blank and add a ticket for every manuscript you wish to submit.  When all titles are entered, proceed to the payment page. 

After you have paid, you may email your entries along with a completed entry form.  Please include your Order ID number with your submissions.

Payment and entries must be received by 5 p.m. September 20, 2024

Jimmy Fortune at the Texas Troubadour

11th Annual

Texas Troubadour Songwriter Classic

Jimmy Fortune, who made his first mark on country music by performing and writing for the Statler Brothers, will headline and judge the 2024 Texas Troubadour.

Fortune joined the group as tenor in the early 80's, replacing Lew DeWitt, who had to retire for health issues.  He wrote the Statlers' number one hits "Elizabeth," "Too Much on My Heart," and "My Only Love."

After selecting his pick for the Troubadour title, Fortune will take the stage to perform a concert with his quartet.

Doors open at 5 p.m. Performances begin at 6 p.m.
