Pottery Class

Fall is upon us...which means soon the holidays will be here too!  Now is a good time to put your creative energies to work. Why not try something new?  Come join us at the Bosque Arts Center September 20 through October 6, 2016, for a fun-filled pottery class.  Sherril Smith will teach a bi-weekly class for 3 weeks, which will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. - noon for six sessions.  The basic building techniques will be covered, including pinch pots, coil building, slab rolling, shaping using molds, and surface texturing.

The class fee of $200 includes 12 hours of instruction, use of all equipment and pottery studio during open hours, clay for our class projects, and shared use of studio tools, kiln firings, and studio glazes.

Come join other creative folks, try your hand at making a gift or two for yourself or someone else. You might surprise yourself at talents you didn't know you had.   Class size is limited to 10 participants.
