Nancy Boren Workshop

Hone your figure-painting skills with artist Nancy Boren.  The recent winner of Artists' Choice and the Bronze Medal at the 2016 Oil Painters of America show will teach a 2-day workshop at the BAC on October 7-8, 2016.  Cost for the workshop will be $200.

“In this workshop we will work on capturing the essence of the model, what you are moved to say about it, drawing (with paint), paying attention to the negative spaces, value relationships and edges” Nancy says. The workshop will include instructor demos and discussions and “lots of personal critique and interaction with the instructor,” Nancy adds. “Embrace the challenge of painting the model and expressing yourself at the same time.”

Don’t miss this October workshop by accomplished artist Nancy Boren, daughter of the late James Boren, CA.  Nancy is an award-winning Signature Member of the Oil Painters of America & the Outdoor Painters Society and is a Master Signature Member of the American Women Artists, American Impressionist Society, & Portrait Society of America.
