10th Annual Texas Troubadour Songwriter Classic.
Deadline for entering this year’s Troubadour contest is August 31, 2023, with cash prizes of $3,000 available.
Bandy is an award-winning country music artist known for such hits as “Hank Williams, You Wrote My Life,” “Bandy the Rodeo Clown,” and “Too Old To Die Young,” in addition to popular duets with Janie Fricke ("It’s a Cheatin’ Situation”) and Joe Stampley (“Where’s the Dress,” “Just Good Ol’ Boys”).
He will judge the online Song of the Year competition in addition to selecting the top singer/songwriter at the live event on November 11. Bandy and his band will close out the evening with a concert of his own after the Troubadour segment of the evening.
Entry Fees:

$15 per song for the Song of the Year category.

$15 one-time fee for live event consideration - Texas Troubadour and People's Choice awards.

Singer/Songwriters wishing to enter the live event competition must enter at least 3 songs in the Song of the Year category (to perform at the live event if chosen for the Top 5) in addition to a video of a live performance of an entered song.
