Atrium Gallery - Jan Beavers

Jan Beavers, August Artist of the Month, is a native Texan whose life is all about art in the country these days. After earning her degree in Design Communication from Texas Tech, Beavers was Creative Director for a national advertising agency before founding her own Graphic Design business called What’s The Big Idea?

Beavers wrote and illustrated the book Understanding Show Jumping – A guide to what’s happening in equestrian show jumper competitions.  Some of her activities and accomplishments include: member of the Cowgirl Artists of America, Bosque Valley Ladies Golf Association, the BAC’s Art Club Treasurer, 12 years on the PTA Board, six years as a volunteer instructor for SpiritHorse Therapeutic Riding, and two years as president of the board for Crossbow Ranch property owners. 

Beaver’s artwork will be on display in the Atrium Gallery from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, Monday through Friday and during special events. 

A special reception will be held to celebrate her artwork on Thursday, August 3, from 5:30 – 7:30 in the evening.  Everyone is invited to attend.
