Atrium Gallery - Curtis Callaway

POSTED: Thursday, October 27, 2022

Curtis Callaway is our Atrium Gallery artist for the month of November. Callaway, a photographer and cinematographer, has 31 years experience in extreme environments. Today he works as not only a photographer but an explorer, environmental journalist and a professor, teaching photography and video production to students at MCC and Baylor University’s Department of Journalism, Public Relations and New Media. His combined interests for adventure, travel, photography, education and science have led him to over 27 countries on six continents working for clients such as Jean-Michel Cousteau Productions, Discovery, Smithsonian and NOAA.

Callaway is planning to launch his new company, Glyph, which will offer all-inclusive workshops taking photographers on creative expeditions all around the world. These expeditions will offer the opportunity to hone their skills and document untold stories from all parts of the globe.

Callaway’s photography will be on display 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily and at other times during BAC events. Don’t miss Curtis Callaway’s special photography exhibit during the month of November in the Atrium Gallery.
