TYLER CROW

Tyler Crow

Tyler Crow grew up in the small town of Apache, OK.  He always had a pencil with him drawing horses.  During his senior year in high school he entered a pencil drawing in the Oklahoma Youth Expo at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City.  Winning Reserve Best of Show and a scholarship gave him a chance to attend his first painting workshop co-taught by Bruce Greene and Martin Grelle.

At his two most recent shows, Tyler received the People’s Choice Award at both the Bosque Art Classic and the Small Works Great Wonders shows.  He received two Silver Medals for his paintings at the 2018 Cowboy Crossings.  He was inducted into the prestigious Cowboy Artists of America (CAA) in 2016.  In 2017, Southwest Art Magazine named Tyler as an emerging artist to watch.  Also in 2017, Tyler was the guest artist at InSight Gallery’s Texas Masters show.  His future plans are to continue studying art and work toward a career as a Western artist.

Tyler and his wife live in Hico, TX.  He frequently visits ranches to photograph and sketch the landscape, livestock, horses, and ranchmen.
