Michael Martin Murphey - 2018 Troubadour

The Bosque Arts Center is pleased to announce that Michael Martin Murphey will judge and perform for the 6th Annual Texas Troubadour Songwriter Classic. The singer/songwriter known for crossover hits like “Wildfire” and “What’s Forever For” will choose the winner from the Texas Troubadour finalists and follow with a concert of his own on November 3, 2018.
Join us to cheer on the Troubadour contestants as they perform starting at 5 p.m. with judging and award presentation by Michael Martin Murphey. Have a light dinner or some snacks and drinks during the contest then enjoy Mr. Murphey doing songs in cowboy, country, pop, and bluegrass style, to name just a few of the genres in which he works. Other hits by Murphey include “Carolina in the Pines,” “Cherokee Fiddle,” "Love Affairs," and “Cowboy Logic.”
Doors open at 4 and performances begin at 5 p.m.
The finalists competing for the $1500 Texas Troubadour Award include some familiar faces and newcomers:

Tickets are $25 for general admission seats (first come, first seated that night) and $50 & $75 for reserved seating at tables.
