Music Camp: Carnival of the Animals

Join in the fun at Music Camp this summer! Students will have a blast learning fundamental music skills through movement, singing, and playing instruments and games. We will listen to Saint-Saen’s humorous orchestral suite and create our own carnival of musical animals.  Camp starts on July 30, at 9 a.m.  We will journey through the animal kingdom Monday-Wednesday 9 a.m.- 2 p.m. and on Thursday, August 2, from 9 a.m.-12 p.m., ending with a performance for parents, family, and friends at noon. This year we will sing at the Lutheran Sunset home on Wednesday, a wonderful opportunity for the children to share their gifts with the people of our community who have given so much in the past.  Please call or pick up a registration form soon at the BAC (forms also available online; spots are limited.  Camp cost: $50.  Children who have completed grades 1-6 may attend.  Scholarships are available but must be submitted by July 23.   -KH/VK
