Birchum Junk Journal Workshop

On Saturday, September 26, Shannon Birchum offers a Junk Journal workshop  with hands-on experience. Participants will create a handmade book of recycled and upcycled materials and items which might include junk mail, vintage memorabilia, old book pages, sheet music, decorative papers, and more.

Birchum explains the workshop will introduce techniques such as collage, layering, simple bookbinding, design, and decorative elements, with a focus on creativity and personal expression.

The workshop runs from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with an enrollment fee of $85.

Basic materials for one book will be provided, as well as an assortment of memorabilia and papery supplies. Participates are encouraged to bring any supplies they may already have. Please call 254-675-3724 to register.
