Wild about Flowers Art Show & Sale 26

The Bosque Arts Center will soon be awash in flowers – all types of flowers - as the Bosque County Art Club presents the Wild about Flowers Art Show and Sale in Spring 2026. This juried art show features regional artists’ original works as they portray the beauty and variety of flowers through paintings and drawings.

Entry Deadline: April 8 & 910 am to 4 pm

Artwork drop-off (in person only) at the Bosque Arts Center, 215 S. College Hill Drive, Clifton, TX 76634.  Art Club Volunteers will receive all art. Artist will complete entry forms with payment.

Following the submitted works’ judging by distinguished judge Linda Lucas Hardy, the show opens to the public on Thursday, April 23th 6 - 7:30p with a Reception and Awards Ceremony. Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and Popular Choice will be awarded. The show continues Monday - Friday April 24 - May 8, 10a - 5p on the second floor of the Bosque Arts Center. The Bosque County Art Club invites artists, those who love art, and those who appreciate the beauty of flowers (Isn’t that everyone?) to enjoy this creative and colorful show. About the Judge

In 2005, Linda Lucas Hardy made a decision to refer to herself as a professional artist. Since that decision her art, and/or articles, have been published in thirty-eight magazines and twenty books. Her work has been juried into more than 90 National and International Exhibitions and she’s won an equal number of awards and honors, many being Best of Show. She is also the recipient of a Silver Medal and a Bosque Art Classic Patrons Purchase Award. Linda is an 25-year veteran of colored pencil instruction and has taught oil painting for 12 years. She has taught classes and workshops in 15 states and 2 countries, to hundreds of students aged 8 to 88. Linda is a nineteen-year merit award recipient in the Colored Pencil Society of America, past President of CPSA 215, the Dallas/Ft Worth District Chapter and past President of CPSA 222, the Texarkana Chapter of the Colored Pencil Society of America. For several years she served on the board of the National Oil and Acrylic Painters (NOAPS) of America. Linda is a Signature member of the Irving Art Association and has been member of the Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Art Society over 30 years.
