39th Annual Bosque Art Classic
The Bosque Art Classic premiered its 39th annual show with a sale and awards dinner on Saturday, September 14, at the Bosque Arts Center in Clifton, TX. Lee Alban of Maryland took home the John Steven Jones Purchase Award, while Eileen Nistler won the Art Patrons Purchase Award.
With a preponderance of western pieces, the exhibition sponsored by the Art Council of the BAC also highlights exquisite still lifes, landscapes, portraits, and more. Over $15,000 was awarded opening night to deserving artists, including the $5,000 John Steven Jones Purchase Award, marking its 35th anniversary this year. View the list of winners here.
Martin Grelle, CA, served as juror for this year’s show, which features the work of talented newcomers and award-winning show veterans. Over 100 artists made it into the 2024 exhibition.
After the opening weekend sale, remaining pieces may also be purchased online Monday, September 16, through Saturday, September 28.

Weekdays--September 16-20, 23-27: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
