Pottery Guild: Meet the Coordinators
POSTED: Monday, August 5, 2024
Susan Stephens has taught children and adults for nearly 50 years as a public school art teacher, junior college instructor and workshop leader. She enjoys sharing her love of all things “art” but found her niche in clay, working at her home studio and in the Pottery Guild studio at the BAC. Susan participates both as a student and teacher to other members. She enjoys the camaraderie and collaboration the Guild offers and looks forward to working with new or seasoned members, giving demonstrations and hosting workshops.
Kimberley Smith started her experience with clay in 1984 learning to throw on the wheel and hand build. What started out as a hobby became a part time business after she retired from Bosque Living Magazine in 2017. As a self employed graphic designer, Kimberley incorporates her design skills into her clay creations and has taught classes at the BAC and other locations in Clifton. She also enjoys the fellowship the Guild offers and finds helping other members very rewarding.
Susan and Kimberley coordinate activities at the studio and maintain supplies for the members. To find out more contact the BAC.
