Atrium Gallery - Frank and Jean Ann Smith

POSTED: Thursday, June 27, 2024

The Atrium Gallery exhibit for July will spotlight the photography and art of Frank and Jean Ann Smith, long time members of the Bosque Arts Center. Each brings their unique view of the world through their photography and sculpture. In the early days of the BAC, then known as the BCCFA, Jean Ann states, “Everyone used real cameras, and everything was mostly with black and white film.” Frank, in addition to photography, took his love for sculpture into his radiator shop and used a technique with welding rods for his designs. He states, “It was a slow process, but very satisfying as every piece was unique.”

Please be sure to stop by the Atrium Gallery and view this special exhibit for July, open daily 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and at other times during special events.
