T.W. “Pops” Vanya and Lloyd Voges Oil Painting Workshop
If you have long admired the work of T.W. Vanya and Lloyd Voges and wished you knew more about color theory, design, and painting techniques, consider enrolling in a 2-day workshop led by these artists. Dates for the indoor workshop are July 14-15. Both basic and intermediate level painters would learn so much from this workshop hosted by the Art Council of the BAC.
Voges has been juried into the Classic nine times, while Vanya is a 12-time accepted artist in the Classic. Vanya won the 2003 Jones Award with his oil, A Beautiful Mind. The piece now hangs in the BAC’s permanent collection.
You will be given comprehensive instruction in oils, color theory, design, and the basics of preparatory drawing to get the best workable image onto your canvas. Then you will be shown how to finish a work, which includes the art of having it framed correctly.

Fee: $350

Fee may be paid in two installments of $175 by calling BAC office 254-675-3274; final payment is due by June 30.
