Deadline for entering the 38th Annual Bosque Art Classic is Wednesday, May 31, 2023. The Art Council of the Bosque Arts Center is pleased to announce the esteemed judge this year will be Seth Hopkins of the Booth Western Art Museum in Cartersville, GA. Executive director of the museum, Hopkins has guided its growth to becoming the largest permanent exhibition space for Western art in the country. The Booth is a world class, 120,000-square-foot Smithsonian-Affiliated museum. Having curated or co-curated almost 100 exhibitions, Hopkins was listed on Southwestern Art magazine’s list of ten prominent people ”making noteworthy contributions to the art world.”
The prospectus for the 2023 Classic is now available. The website will open for entries later this month.
