POSTED: Thursday, July 21, 2022
Longtime TBT veteran actress, director, and board member Lorana Rush was the recipient of the group's highest honor, the Frances Watson Lifetime Achievement Award, on May 27. Rush was presented the award by TBT president Linda Lowrance just prior to opening the curtain for TBT's popular comedy, Four Old Broads. Rush was a featured player in the show.
Rush joined the group while still a high school student in the mid-1980s. She has appeared in dozens of plays over four decades as an actress. She is also a gifted director and TBT leader. The Watson Lifetime Achievement Award was first presented in 1988 to honor long standing overall contributions to the Tin Building Theatre.
Congratulations to Lorana Rush for all her many contributions to the TBT. “We wouldn't be here without her,” Lowrance said.
