Atrium Gallery - Jo Beck

Jo Beck has been drawing and painting ever since she can remember. Throughout elementary and high school she pursued her art interest aided by encouraging teachers. This may be the reason she ended up as a teacher herself and taught art for two years before she met her husband Bill. As a military wife and mother she moved many times and always found her niche in the artistic communities wherever they lived. About 20 years ago she began painting on slate and then transitioned to the tiles she is best known for in this area today.

You may see Beck’s works at the Atrium gallery 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily and during BAC events held at other times. Be sure to swing by during the month of December and enjoy viewing Beck’s art exhibit.
