Rosemaling Workshop December 1-2

A special creative treat for the Norwegian in each of us….Norwegian Rosemaling Workshop with Peg Piltingsrud. For those of us missing the Norwegian link, Rosemaling (known in other forms as tole painting) is a traditional folk art evolving from the Norse Vikings and their ancient wood carvings. The workshop is scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, December 1 and 2.

Cost is $150 and includes most of the materials required for the class (supply list available upon reservation). Students will develop style and stroke work, draw a pattern, and have their very own piece completed by the time they leave this workshop. (Bring something from home or use items provided by the instructor.)
