Atrium Gallery - Ann Patton

POSTED: Tuesday, November 2, 2021

Our November Atrium Gallery featured artist is Ann Patton. Raised on a ranch in south Texas, Ann began drawing and painting as a little kid. She started taking her work seriously in 2015 after retiring several times. In college she studied art and discovered watercolor and since then has painted nothing but watercolors. “I love the beautiful, vibrant colors and the range of possibilities, from soft to hard edges.”

Her artwork reflects her view of the world around her, which includes landscape, birds, horses, dogs, cattle, flowers, and her people. “There is endless inspiration in my world and I paint some almost every day.” Ann and her husband Jim live on Mustang Creek in Bosque County and spend summers at their cabin in the mountains of New Mexico.

Ann’s works are on display in the Atrium gallery 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily and during BAC events held at other times. Be sure to swing by the Atrium Gallery during the month of November.
