Texas Troubadour with Marty Haggard

Calling all songwriters and singer/songwriters!  Deadline for entering the 2021 Texas Troubadour Songwriter Classic is August 3, with the live competition on November 6, 2021. 

We are thrilled to announce Marty Haggard will judge and headline the 2021 Texas Troubadour Songwriter Classic.  Son of the legendary Merle Haggard, Marty grew up around the greats and was witness to the writing of some of the most iconic country tunes of our time. The singer/songwriter has released albums of his original works as well as two tributes to his father.

The Songwriter Classic awards $3000 in cash prizes:  $1000 given Song of the Year award; $1500 for the Troubadour and $500 People’s Choice live performance awards.  Entry fees are $15/song entered online; $20/song on CD.  There is a one-time $15 for Troubadour consideration.
