Books on the Bosque 2020

Books on the Bosque returns this year on November 13-14.  Friday night will kick off with Radney Foster, An Acoustic Evening.  The singer/songwriter of Foster and Lloyd fame (“Turn Around,” “Crazy Over You,” “What Do You Want from Me This Time”) intermingles his country/Americana hits with lyrical short stories from his acclaimed book For You to See the Stars. 

We are also excited to announce the 2020 Books conference will feature a writing contest with $1,600 in cash prizes.  The contest will have 4 categories:  Short Story, Creative Nonfiction Essay, Poetry – Rhymed, and Poetry – Free Verse.

Awards by category are $250 first place, $100 second place, $50 third place.  Entries open in July; deadline is September 21, 2020.  Fee is $10/entry.
