Entry Deadline February 22, 2020

The Bosque Arts Center Art Council is holding its Seventeenth Annual High School Student Art Show which will showcase the work of young artists from all Bosque County high schools, as well as students from Hamilton, Hico, and Whitney high schools.

Deadline for entering the show is February 22.

An awards reception will be held from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 1, to which the public is invited. Art will be displayed at the Bosque Arts Center from March 1 through March 14, 2020.

The Best in Show Award is $500 and each Media Category will award First Place with $100, Second Place with $75, and Third Place with $50. Artwork may be made available for purchase, as each artist chooses.

The show is open to all students working toward improving their artistic skills and who attend the schools noted. Some schools may not have art instruction or classes, but have students expanding their artistic talent "on their own."

Students must deliver their artwork to the Bosque Arts Center by February 22.  Any unsold work must be picked up after the show.
