TBT to Host Waco Civic’s 'Baskerville'

POSTED: Wednesday, May 9, 2018

The Bosque Arts Center Tin Building Theatre will present two special performances of the Ken Ludwig comedy hit, Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery, on Saturday, May 26.  The show will be presented as a matinee at 2 p.m. and a dinner theater at 6:30 p.m.  Tickets for both performances are now on sale at the TBT Box Office or online.

Laughter is "elementary, my dear Watson," commented a TBT spokesman of the production, which was a hit for Waco Civic Theatre.  A fast-paced adaptation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's 1902 classic mystery, The Hound of the Baskervilles, is full of intrigue and hilarious surprises. The male heirs of the Baskerville line are being murdered one by one and the renowned sleuth Sherlock Holmes, along with his trusted sidekick, Dr. Watson, must work feverishly to crack the curse before it dooms the newest heir. Five talented actors, playing 40 quirky characters, follow leads, unravel clues, hit dead-ends, and zigzag with the story until the shockingly funny conclusion.

Tickets for the matinee performance are $10 and the dinner performance is $40 and includes a catered meal starting at 6:30 p.m.  Reservations may be made online or by contacting TBT at (254) 675-2278.  Box office hours through the production are Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
