32nd Annual Bosque Art Classic
POSTED: Monday, March 20, 2017
Entries have opened for the Bosque Arts Center’s 32nd Annual Bosque Art Classic. Sponsored by the BAC Art Council, the national art show and sale welcomes realistic and representational art in the categories of drawing, oil/acrylic, pastel, sculpture, and water media. Entry deadline for the show is May 22, 2017.
Over the years the Bosque Art Classic has attracted work from talented artists across the nation, many of whom have gone on to great acclaim, such as Xiang Zhang and Greg Kelsey, as well as Cowboy Artists of America like Tyler Crow, Jason Scull, and 2017 Art Classic judge, Teal Blake.
Last year, the Art Council added to the permanent collection at the Arts Center Randy Meador’s Tight Rein (John Steven Jones Award and Gold Medal Oil), along with Jim House’s watercolor Three Men on Horses (Art Patrons Purchase Award and Silver Medal Water Media).
The Classic will be on display September 9 – 23, 2017.
