Art Club Show/Sale-Fallfest

The Bosque County Art Club is proud to announce the upcoming 14th Annual Art Show and Sale to run in conjunction with Clifton's Fallfest October 15, 2016. The show which will be held on the Second Floor and the Atrium of the Bosque Arts Center, 215 S. College Hill Drive, Clifton, Texas, is open to all. Entry fees are based on Member and Non-Members as well. Six categories of mediums are available for Artists competition. This will be a judged event by local Sculptor Jack Walker. Entry forms available at the Arts Center. Deadline to return form and entry fee is September 26, 2016. For any questions please call Sue Bandy, Art Show Chairman, at 254-865-6044.
Along with the competition you will be able to purchase paintings which will be displayed in the Cafeteria Area of the Bosque Arts Center. Should you have any questions pertaining to the Art Club, several members will be present to provide answers. While the festivities downtown will be captivating please do not forget to come by the Arts Center to view the show and watch the demonstrations given by local artists. We will have a People's Choice Award and a “Name the Painting” on a donated piece from one of our Members Lillian Jacoway. Lillian will pick the winning name from the entries. Bonus – it's air conditioned!!
This year's Raffle Painting is an Original Oil Painting titled The Theorist donated from accomplished Artist Samuel Shelton who took “Best of Show” at last year's event. You can purchase raffle tickets at our booth downtown on the day of the show, or from any Art Club Member. Tickets will also be sold at the Bosque Arts Center. The painting will be displayed at the Bosque Arts Center until the day of the Show and then it will be at our downtown Booth. The drawing will be held on Saturday, October 15, at 3:30 p.m. At the Bosque Arts Center. Winners need not be present to win.
