Tin Building Theatre Productions
The Bosque Arts Center Tin Building Theatre will present Scott Wells, master of comedy, magic and mind reading, in a one-time Dinner Theater performance March 17, 2012. Mr. Wells is a two-time recipient of the "Magician of the Year Award" by the Society of American Magicians. The next theater performance will be "Always...Patsy Cline," a tribute to the legendary country singer. The show is based on a true story about Cline’s friendship with a fan named Louise Seger, who befriended the singer in l961, and continued a correspondence with Cline until her death in 1963. The play focuses on the fateful evening when Seger hears of Cline's death. Seger supplies a narrative while Cline floats in and out of the set singing tunes that made her famous. Many of Patsy's timeless hits such as Crazy, I Fall to Pieces, She’s Got You, Sweet Dreams and Walkin’ After Midnight are included in the musical presentation, more than 20 songs in all. The show’s title was inspired by Cline's letters to Seger, which were signed "Love ALWAYS... Patsy Cline.” Performances scheduled beginning May 5 and ending May 19 include two Dinner Theaters, two regular performances and a Matinee. For reservations call the Tin Building Theatre at 254-675-2278, Monday through Friday, 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.
