Tuna Does Vegas
With a bang, a twang and not a few mishaps, the third-smallest town in Texas descends on Sin City in Tuna Does Vegas. The Bosque Arts Center's Tin Building Theatre will open its production of the newest in the legendary Tuna series May 11 with a dinner theater.
This hilarious installment re-unites the lovable and eccentric characters from the Tuna, Texas, as they take a rambling romp in Sin City. The mayhem begins when oddball-conservative radio host Arles Struvie announces on air that he and his wife Bertha Bumiller are heading to Vegas to renew their wedding vows...but good intentions take a wrong turn when everyone in town goes along for the ride! Written by Jaston Williams, Joe Sears, and Ed Howard, Tuna Does Vegas will feature the favorite characters from the award-winning Tuna Series with some new characters too!
Tuna Does Vegas balances an affectionate comment on small-town life with hilarious satire. The eclectic band of citizens that make up this town will keep audiences well-entertained and laughing.
In addition to the opening Dinner Theater, a second dinner theater is scheduled for June 1. Regular Performances will be May 18 and 31. Matinee Performances will be May 12 and 19.
Reservations will open for Patrons April 1. Additional information and reservations will be available online or by calling the theater office 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. weekdays at 254-675-2278.
