The Story of You Workshop will begin Sept 9th and meets each
Tuesday from 10am-12pm until October 28th. Cost is $85 for an 8 week
session. Please call the Conservatory office at 675-3724 FMI.
“It has been said that in the process of our contemplative writing classes, a spiritual awakening breaks through as we record life experiences. Each student’s personal poetic voice is honored and highly valued and the art of word is recognized as a way of healing and connecting each writer with their inner-world of passion and purpose. Writing your life experiences can be your gift to the world around you, as well as your family and fellow students,” says Val Taylor.
In this expressive workshop, Poetry Therapist, former journalist and author Vallie Fletcher Taylor will inspire you to enter the depth of your soul and wealth of your heart, unearthing your unique voice and vision via your pen. As you begin to dance with your own words and release your fierce and fabulous fire through poetry or prose you will become creatively nourished.
“The Conservatory class room is a safe space which offers the opportunity to glimpse your hidden wholeness and rejoin soul and role. . . to reconnect what you do with who you really are. This class is a creative endeavor that asks you to reclaim your deep voice and express what truly matters to you, “ Taylor says.
“Our quiet classroom is where participants meet with the essence of things. In stillness we begin to let go of external voices, stereotypes and clichés that have drowned-out our original, personal and internal voices, “ Taylor concludes.
