Bruce Greene & Martin Grelle Workshop

The Art Council of the Bosque Arts Center is privileged to annually host a plein air workshop led by nationally known artists Bruce Greene and Martin Grelle, both members of the Cowboy Artists of America. Workshops are normally held in early November in a location featuring Bosque County scenery.

The workshop focuses on critiques of both finished work and plans for future work. Instruction will be provided in sculpture, oil, and acrylic, with emphasis on demonstrations and critiques. Bosque County is a special place in the fall; so, we invite you to join us in participating in this workshop taught by these two prestigious artists.

The 2010 workshop will be held on October 30 & 31.

Registration is now open.

A good way to spend Halloween weekend would be to join your fellow artists for the annual Greene-Grelle Workshop.

Bruce Greene and Martin Grelle, nationally known artists and members of the Cowboy Artists of America, will conduct their annual plein air workshop in Bosque County, Texas, October 30 & 31, 2010.  Those students fortunate to be enrolled in this workshop will be presented the opportunity to paint beautiful and interesting Bosque County scenery.  Each student should bring the materials he/she regularly uses to complete a painting as well as two works in progress or two completed paintings for critique.

Plein air art instruction will be conducted Saturday and Sunday, October 30 and 31.  The group will convene on Saturday at 8 am at the Bosque Arts Center (formerly Bosque Conservatory) in Clifton, Texas.  In the event of inclement weather, classes will necessarily be moved to an indoor facility.  Continental breakfasts and lunches are included in the workshop fee ($225).

The Art Council of the Bosque Arts Center (formerly Bosque Conservatory) is pleased to present this workshop lead by these two acclaimed artists.  Due to the popularity and limited enrollment of the workshop, a 50% deposit is required with your registration form to be received by OCTOBER 1, 2010.  The balance of any payment due must be received by October 15, 2010.  No cancellation refund will be given after October 10, 2010.  Cancellations prior to October 10, 2010, will be subject to a $15 administration fee.  Scholarship guidelines are available upon request.  Scholarship deadline is October 1, 2010.
